In this past week, my food intake has definitely not been the greatest. I have barely exercised. I am super stressed. More than normal.
I even considered quitting my workout program. Not because I do not like it, because I LOVE IT! It has added to my stress. How?
Well, more often than not, I can get through about 1/4-3/4 of the exercise, and my knee begins to bug me. I feel like I am not putting in the 100%, not pushing myself as hard as I should be. I modify the jumping moves to keep it knee friendly.
Yesterday, I took a day to just relax. Do NOTHING. No school, no homework or studying, no workout. Nothing.
I ate a pot of chicken soup and half a sleeve of unsalted soda crackers to myself and cuddled with my dog while watching movies. I got my hair cut too.
Today, I am taking baby steps. Today, No candy. If I can buy it in the candy aisle at the grocery store, or find it at 7-11, it is off limits.
I promise myself I am going to pick this butt up and do an hour of exercise that makes me sweat. It may not be INSANITY today, but it will be something.
We all have our ups and downs. I am currently climbing upward. A huge factor in my success so far, isn’t only the hard work that I have put into myself. I also have a secret weapon. I have a support group.
The challenge group I am a part of helps me IMMENSELY! The people in it are there for me when I need it most: When I am down, unmotivated, in need of a friend to talk to, but also when I am happy, have reached a milestone, or even feel like sharing something ridiculous. They help to keep me going
My tip for success for you: Get a support group.
Mine is on Facebook, but yours can be anywhere. A meeting somewhere, Facebook (closed or open group), Twitter, any social media, a gym, school, work. It will be a huge factor in your success. Just make sure that the people in that group are there for a similar reason as you! Mine is fitness and health. We are all going through similar experiences, challenges and feats.
Set yourself up for success and don’t let anything get in your way! You can do it!

Great advice – you want to surround yourself with people who support you! Don’t let the little setbacks get you down. Just get back up, dust yourself off, and do what your body is comfortable doing. It’ll tell you when you need to back off or ramp it up!
Very true! Awesome outlook Sarah, way to stay positive!
